I forgot to take pictures of the parade till I saw them driving down the road. Not great I know. Well December 1st was mine and Cody's 6th month anniversary. It is amazing to me how so much has happened. I decided that althought it was slow at times, it went by real quick. Seems like just yesterday I was stressing out about everything. I love Cody so much and each day I find something new about him that I love! He is my best friend and I am so glad we got married for Eternity. To celebrate the day, we cooked muffins and ate them in bed, helped my mil with her tree, went to lunch at Subway, did some Christmas shopping, washed Rustin's car, went to dinner with Cody's family and watched the light parade. Before the parade started we walked around down town Safford and looked in some shops. I love the holiday season! They blocked off the streets and there were performers and then they put snow machines on the top of the buildings so it would feel like a real winter. It took us a while to catch on where the snow was coming from!...we're real winners. haha. When we went back down to where everyone was sitting, Santa was walking down the middle of the street. Logan was told not to get off the side walk and he was jumping up and down yelling, "Santa, I like you!" Cody was like, "Logan who is that?" Logan looked at Cody so mad and said, "I'm talking to Santa!" Then he just kept yelling, "Santa I like you! Santa I love you!" at the top of his lungs. We were all laughing because he was so excited that he was shaking! When the McDonalds float came by, they had some workers handing out coupons for a free meal. Well this big lady gave it to my bro-in-law who isn't that big. We all kinda laughed. He said, "she gave it to me cuz I don't look like I'll just eat one meal!" I said, "I bet that killed her to give that to you. She probably wanted to keep it for herself!" I know it wasn't very nice to say but it was funny! After the parade we went to Marilyn's and watched the ASU vs U of A game. Me and Cody have been feeling sick ever since. Sunday after church we ate dinner with the family and then watched the Christmas Devotional. It was so good to listen to the First Presidency and hear what they have to say and feel of their sweet spirits! I loved the talks and loved the music! Of course I cried and felt the spirit! What a beautiful feeling it is to know what I am a part of along with my husband and family. The Christmas spirit is amazing! I love the gospel and am so glad to be a part of it!

You are so funny. That poor lady that had to hand out those coupons. We completely missed the Show Low parade. Buffi and Laren were at the house and didn't want to go to it, so we missed it. I was kind of sad but oh well. No big deal, but it does help put you in the Christmas spirit. We watched the devotional also. It was very good. My favorite song they sang was "still, still, still." very beautiful.

Yeah we joked that as the lady gave out the coupons that she would say, "one for you, one for me" haha. We are mean. I know that song is amazing. Those slow Christmas songs are what get me excited for Christmas.
